In the light of day.
Dean woke slowly the next morning, his mind sluggish and disoriented. The first thing he noticed was that he wasn't alone. He laid on his side with another person's arms around him and a warm body pressed up against his back. It wasn't his room at the motel, either. The bed was too comfortable and the sheets smelled clean, not musty.
Without opening his eyes, Dean laid there and tried to think back over the night before. There was no hangover, so he couldn't have been drunk, but his memory was hazy anyway. He remembered checking out a club that was said to be suspicious...
Couldn't really remember going inside, although his mind kept producing hazy images of him on his knees and the smell of sex. Which, really, wasn't the worst thing in the world, but it would be nice to remember it. Some worrisome thought was niggling at the back of his mind, but he couldn't quite make it come forward.
Slowly, Dean opened his eyes and looked back over his shoulder at the man laying behind him.

"So, uh. What brought you to that club last night anyway?"
no subject
He shrugged. "What about you?"
no subject
"It was definitely an interesting place, huh?"

It was just curiosity really. Dean had seemed pretty into the submission thing though.

He grinned a little and looked over at Nathaniel. "Looked like fun."

He licked his lips and ran a fingertip around the edge of his coffee mug. "Plenty of toys and stuff, too."
no subject
Nathaniel wasn't sure what last night had been, but he wasn't going to bet on a repeat being a sure bet. "So... you've really never done the stuff we did before last night? At least to that extent..."
no subject
"The few times I've tried, I ended up with guys trying to make me their whore or women who thought I wasn't manly enough for them. Which is why I was a little defensive this morning." He didn't really feel like wanting to submit to someone made him less of a man or a whore, but he'd been told that on more than one occasion. So, he pretty much expected it now.
no subject
Considering the way he'd acted last night? He couldn't really call Dean a whore for acting on what he wanted when he hadn't been able to say no either. As for Dean's masculinity? Well, Nathaniel wasn't really sure it said anything about that either. Not just liking giving over a bit of control anyway. "Uh, either way... Glad I could help you with that fantasy of yours, Dean. It was pretty fun for me too, honestly."
no subject
He lifted his fork to taste the eggs, but before he did, he glanced over across the table. "Do you want to? Get to know me?"
no subject
It was an honest answer. The guy seemed interesting besides the sex too. "Do you live around here or something?"
no subject
He shook his head as he snatched up a piece of bacon for a bite. "Don't really live anywhere, unless you consider my Impala home. I travel a lot."
no subject
Not that Nathaniel was really ashamed over that stuff, more the fact that he'd headed in blind without barely knowing the other's damn name. Still couldn't believe he did that... that place was insane.
no subject
Which... he kind of did.
"What do you do?"
no subject
"I own the bar down the street." He shrugged. "Just opened up, so we're pretty new though."
no subject
Dean finished off his breakfast, glad Nathaniel hadn't asked too much more about his job. He kind of didn't like lying to the guy, but it was a necessary thing. He'd hate being chucked out even more. It had happened before.
He smiled as he leaned back in his seat. "Now, there's a real job. I think it'd be fun to own a bar."
no subject
"You should drop by sometime. Drinks'll be on the house. As a matter of fact--" He flashed a grin.
"You stick around long enough, you can drop in tonight."
no subject
Besides that, he was hot and he owned a bar. Two huge pluses right there.
"I'd like that. If you don't mind me hanging around."
no subject
"Guess we got a bit of time to waste until then though. Anything in particular you want to do?"
Well, they had pretty much crashed last night, hadn't they? They should probably wash up. "If you want a shower, it's down the hall, across from the bedroom."
no subject
Right now, though, a shower sounded fantastic. "That'd be great, thanks. You happen to know if my car made it here? My clothes are in my bag..."
no subject
"Uh, well we got here somehow. It'd be parked out front, I think. What do you drive again?"
no subject
He looked over at Nathaniel curiously. "Mind if I run down and grab my bag real quick?"
no subject
"Nah, go ahead." He paused, flashing a playful look. "I promise I won't lock the door after you step out."
