In the light of day.

Dean woke slowly the next morning, his mind sluggish and disoriented. The first thing he noticed was that he wasn't alone. He laid on his side with another person's arms around him and a warm body pressed up against his back. It wasn't his room at the motel, either. The bed was too comfortable and the sheets smelled clean, not musty.

Without opening his eyes, Dean laid there and tried to think back over the night before. There was no hangover, so he couldn't have been drunk, but his memory was hazy anyway. He remembered checking out a club that was said to be suspicious...

Couldn't really remember going inside, although his mind kept producing hazy images of him on his knees and the smell of sex. Which, really, wasn't the worst thing in the world, but it would be nice to remember it. Some worrisome thought was niggling at the back of his mind, but he couldn't quite make it come forward.

Slowly, Dean opened his eyes and looked back over his shoulder at the man laying behind him.

He huffed out a laugh at those words and nodded. "Yeah, it was."

Brushing a kiss against the back of his neck, he started to draw away from Dean. "Looks like we've got to get cleaned up again, huh?"

Even if he'd have liked staying like this for a little while longer. "Still have time to make the store, if you're interested."

No, Dean wasn't complaining. He just hoped it wasn't making Nathaniel think less of him for not insisting. Usually, he did. He was pretty careful in general. Just, the last few days he'd been so wrapped up in how good he felt with this man that everything else had fallen by the wayside.

He made a soft sound of disappointment when Nathaniel pulled out and then he turned to face him, leaning his back against the door and smiling. "I'm interested if you are, definitely. Quick shower then shopping?"

Not like Nathaniel could really talk when he hadn't done much protesting or insisting on protection either really. Probably didn't reflect good on him and usually, he tried to be safe... It was too easy to get wrapped up in all this though, apparently. The last few days had been crazy. "Sounds good. I'll start the water."

Leaning in for a quick kiss, he pulled away and headed to the bathroom to start the shower and wait for Dean to join him.

After another minute to catch his breath, Dean followed after him. He wandered into the bathroom and slipped up behind him to nuzzle at the back of his shoulder while the water warmed up. Strange how natural this all came to him. How comfortable he was already with someone he'd only known a few days.

He looked over when Dean joined him, watching him nuzzle into him for a moment before shifting to face him. It was weird how comfortable this was... probably shouldn't be so natural. But it was nice and maybe it'd keep being nice for however long it lasted. Leaning in, he let his lips graze over Dean's as he reached for the soap.

"Mmmm..." Dean leaned into the kiss and sighed happily. They didn't have long for the shower, but he was happy to lean into Nathaniel and enjoy the touches while he could. If they got around to all the plans they'd made so far, he'd be around for plenty more showers anyway.

He washed Dean up -- quicker and with less exploring that earlier. Didn't have time if they still wanted to go to the store. He washed him up and once he was done with that, Nathaniel nudged him to step under the spray of water.

It was brief, but Dean still enjoyed it. He was becoming pretty fond of having Nathaniel's hands on him. When he was nudged, he stepped back under the water to rinse off, then took the soap and reached to return the favor.

Nathaniel didn't protest him returning the favor at all. Dean's hands on him weren't so bad either. He let out a sigh and leaned in to those touches lightly, letting Dean clean him up.

If they'd had more time, Dean would have really made it good, but they couldn't afford to get distracted right now. When Nathaniel was clean, Dean nudged him toward the water to rinse and then reached fro towels as he stepped out of the shower.

Stepping out after he was rinsed, he dried off and headed into the bedroom to slip some fresh clothes on. At the rate the rate they were going through clothes, he was going to have to be doing laundry soon. At least he was extremely clean with all the washing they were doing...

Dean was thoroughly amused by all the washing. It had been a while since he had such an active weekend. Man, he needed to do this more often. And considering all the plans and suggestions they'd made, it seemed like he'd have a chance to.

He followed Nathaniel into the bedroom and dug through his bag for clothes. Yeah, definitely going to be needing to wash soon.

They definitely had enough stuff planned to last for a few weekends at least, if they really did all they discussed. Nathaniel was looking forward to it though. Definitely been awhile since he'd had the promise of regular sex.

Once he'd slipped into his clothes, he straightened up and turned to see if Dean was dressed yet. "You ready to head out?"
