Making a Connection.

The hunt seemed to last forever. Dean had tracked the water wraith through almost two entire states before he finally caught up with it. Even then, the damn thing almost drowned him before he put it down. Probably should have called in some help, Dad or Bobby, but he wanted to finish it on his own. That way he could slip off and take a few days for himself afterward.

Dean dragged into his motel room and made a beeline for the shower. The water that thing had lived in was freezing and he was still chilled to the bone even an hour later. Before he did anything else, he was going to use up all the hot water he could get a hold of. Which, of course, made him miss another shower he'd enjoyed. Man, he couldn't wait to get back.

After his shower, he pulled on a clean, dry pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt and ordered a pizza to be delivered. Then he flopped down on his bed, burrowing under the covers to thaw out and wait for his dinner.

Maybe not professional, but Dean kind of loved the idea of Nathaniel walking around smelling like him. Every once in a while, he found he had a possessive streak.

He nodded. "Will do." Then he headed toward the bathroom, unabashedly naked and well fucked. Man, he felt good. He was going to sleep for hours, later. Hopefully with his collar on, if Nathaniel had time to slip it on before he left.

He probably wouldn't mind it, really, going around smelling like Dean. Figured it would be inevitable, if they kept their dinner date tomorrow night too.

Once the toys were cleaned and stashed away, collar placed out on the bed, he headed for the bathroom to see if Dean was still in or if he was finished. Either way, he needed to jump in quick.

Dean was almost finished. He was rinsing off when he heard Nathaniel come into the bathroom. He moved to make sure there was plenty of room for the other man to step in.

"Almost done here. There should be plenty of hot water left."

Nathaniel stepped up behind him, arms slipping around hi waist. "Mmm, just need enough to wash up."

Though he wasn't too eager to move with Dean right there, close by. "So, still planning on waiting for me when I get in tonight?"

"Absolutely. Anything you want." Dean meant that, too. Whatever Nathaniel asked for, he was going to get.

He leaned back against him and sighed contentedly. "Will you text me before you get ready to come up? Give me a chance to wake up and get myself together?"

"Yeah, I will..." He leaned in, nuzzling at the back of Dean's neck, letting out a sigh. Definitely didn't want to move from here.

"Need to get washed up. You're good at distracting me, you know."

Dean laughed a little at that and turned in Nathaniel's arms to lean in and kiss him long and slow. "You're good at letting me distract you," he murmured when the kiss ended.

Then he slowly, reluctantly pulled away. "I'll see you in the bedroom."

"To be fair, I haven't been trying very hard to not let you." He hadn't seen Dean in weeks and those phone calls and texts? More teases than anything substantial to go by.

"Alright... I'll be right there." He watched Dean slip out of the shower and then went to wash up real fast. He didn't linger and soon, he was coming out of the bathroom with a towel around his waist.

Dean had dried off and stretched out on the bed. Technically, he supposed he could have climbed under the covers and gotten comfortable, but it was more fun to be sprawled out and inviting now. Give Nathaniel something to think about while he was downstairs. Besides, he wanted his collar. He'd been eager for it since he got here and seeing it lying on the bed just made him want it more.

Dean sat up and shifted on the bed, sitting back on his heels at the foot of the bed to wait.

When Dean sat up like that, he smiled a little bit and headed over to take the leather collar and fit around his neck. "How's that feel?"

Knew Dean liked those collars and hey, this one looked good on him. Not only did it look good, but Nathaniel kind of like it on him. The show of possession, the way Dean would submit to him too, trust him.

"Feels good," Dean answered with a deep sigh of contentment. It was almost a little unsettling how much comfort that strap of leather around his throat brought him.

He slid his arms around Nathaniel's waist and nuzzled his cheek against his chest. "Missed this."

"Good." He let Dean pull him in for now, arms settling around him. "Yeah, me too... You stayed gone too long." Not that he hadn't expected it... he expected there would be another long stretch of time after this visit too actually.

"I know." He sighed a little. There'd be more absences, yeah. He didn't like it, but that was the job. He'd just have to try to enjoy the time they had while he could stay. "We'll have to make up for that lost time while I'm here."

Reluctantly, he pulled away. "You'd better get dressed. I don't want to make you late."

"We'll definitely be doing that." With the weekend they had planned? It'd definitely make up for some of it.

When Dean moved away, Nathaniel nodded and went to slip into some fresh clothes. After that was taken care of, he went back to the bed to steal a quick kiss. "Get some rest... and help yourself to anything in the kitchen, if you want it."

"I will, thanks." Sleep sounded awesome right about now. Later, he might be hungry, but all he wanted now was a soft pillow and some blankets. Dean moved to crawl under the covers and settled in, sighing softly into Nathaniel's kiss.

"Don't forget to text me." He nodded to his phone sitting on the bedside table, then grinned at him. "I want to make sure I have time to give you the proper greeting."

"I won't... been looking forward to that greeting to let you just sleep right on through it," he teased, watching as Dean settled in and got comfortable. Looked comfortable...

Straightening up, he headed for the door. Needed to get down and get ready to open the bar up anyway, much as he'd like to linger around. There'd be time for that later tonight though.

He let himself out as quietly and headed down to the bar, setting his thoughts on work instead of the naked, collared guy in his bed. Damn, but that was difficult...

Thankfully, they got busy enough to keep him on his toes once people started filtering in.

Dean slept hard for a good five hours. The previous day plus the drive and the really spectacular ride on Nathaniel's machine had all combined to knock him cold. When he woke, it was to the sound of his stomach growling urgently. Even so, he took his time getting up.

The bed was warm and a dozen times more comfortable than the ones he was used to on the road. He stretched and squirmed, reveling in the other man's scent on the sheets and pillows. One hand moved slowly to stroke the soft leather circling his neck. A long, deep sigh escaped him. If this wasn't complete contentment, he didn't know what was.

Finally, he got himself out of bed, didn't bother with getting dressed, and wandered into the kitchen to find something to eat. As he poked around, it occurred to him that learning to cook might be in his best interests if he was going to be spending much time here. Ultimately, he ended up with another sandwich. Not the most imaginative of meals, but it did the trick.

After he was done, he cleaned up and headed back to bed to wait. He wasn't sleepy, but the bed was too comfortable to resist for long. He kept his phone close, waiting for Nathaniel's text.

It was late before Nathaniel managed to send in a text. He was alone downstairs, having sent his bartender home early and decided handle the last bit of closeup and clean up, himself. wasn't too much more to do and knowing Dean was upstairs waiting for him was incentive enough to hurry and get it done, honestly.

After a few moments, he pulled out his phone.

Hey, you awake?

Dean startled out of a light doze when he phone buzzed. He reached for it on the nightstand and grinned when he read the text.

Hey! I am. You about done?

Almost. Why don't you pour us a drink and wait for me by the door? On your knees, maybe.

Yes, master.

Dean grinned as he sent the response. Then he climbed out of bed and straightened up the covers before he headed into the living room and went to pour Nathaniel a drink. He knelt by the door with the drink in hand and waited.

Nathaniel came up a little bit after the last text. He smiled at the sight of Dean waiting like he'd told him to. Good to see he was still great at listening to that sort of stuff...

He took a step over to him to take the drink, his other hand going to stroke down the side of his face and down to his chin, tipping his chin up. "You get some rest? Long night ahead of you after all."

Dean sighed softly when his head was tipped up and he smiled. "Yeah, I did. It was really nice. I'm looking forward to tonight, too. Everything you have in mind."

"Good." He returned the smile briefly before he took a sip from his drink. "I'm gonna go sit over in that chair... you can help me out of these boots. Not real interested in keeping in these clothes."

"Yes, master." Dean purred smoothly.

He waited for Nathaniel to walk over and sit in the chair, then he followed, sinking once more to his knees beside his legs. One by one, Dean stroked his legs lightly and pulled off each boot and sock. When they were done, he leaned up to start unbuttoning Nathaniel's shirt, since he said he wasn't interested in clothes.
