In the light of day.

Dean woke slowly the next morning, his mind sluggish and disoriented. The first thing he noticed was that he wasn't alone. He laid on his side with another person's arms around him and a warm body pressed up against his back. It wasn't his room at the motel, either. The bed was too comfortable and the sheets smelled clean, not musty.

Without opening his eyes, Dean laid there and tried to think back over the night before. There was no hangover, so he couldn't have been drunk, but his memory was hazy anyway. He remembered checking out a club that was said to be suspicious...

Couldn't really remember going inside, although his mind kept producing hazy images of him on his knees and the smell of sex. Which, really, wasn't the worst thing in the world, but it would be nice to remember it. Some worrisome thought was niggling at the back of his mind, but he couldn't quite make it come forward.

Slowly, Dean opened his eyes and looked back over his shoulder at the man laying behind him.

"Nah, I got it, don't worry." He did reach in his pocket for his keys, passing the one for the house over. Figured he could trust the guy enough with it if he could trust him with half the shit they'd already done.

"Go on and head up. I'll be up in a minute. Maybe if you start a shower, I'll even join you."

Dean laughed softly as he reached for the key. It wasn't the first he'd been handed and not the fastest either, but it was his favorite so far. Even if it was just temporary. "Alright. I'll see you upstairs, then."

He headed out of the bar and back upstairs. Let himself in and then left the key on the kitchen table for Nathaniel before he headed to the bathroom to start up the shower.

As soon as the bar downstairs was cleaned and locked back up, Nathaniel headed upstairs. He locked the door behind him and headed in to the bathroom when he heard the shower going. Damn, definitely glad to be able to do this... if he were being honest, part of him had been tempted to invite Dean in with him earlier today.

Hadn't wanted to move too fast after the rush last night was, but it didn't seem like that big of a deal now.

The bathroom door was still open a crack, a clear invitation. Dean was in the shower under the water, sighing contentedly at the warmth and the pressure of the water against his skin. He turned and smiled when he heard Nathaniel walk into the room. His hand pulled the curtain aside a little and he peeked out. "Coming in?"

"Coming," he answered as he stripped out of his clothes and went to step in behind Dean. Once he was inside, he went to slide arms around Dean and leaned in to kiss over his shoulder lightly.

Dean sighed softly when Nathaniel's arms wrapped around him. He leaned back into the other man and tipped his head back to smile at him. "I could get used to this."

"Yeah..." He rested his chin on the other's shoulder lightly, returning that smile slightly. He reached with one hand for the soap to start washing Dean up a little, taking his time. Didn't think they were in any real hurry.

"So, how long are you going to be here anyway?"

Definitely no hurry as far as Dean was concerned. He would be happy to stand there and let Nathaniel wash him as long as he wanted to. The question made him smile a little. "I'm between assignments for a few days. I wasn't sure if I was going to stay here for the break or move on, but... kind of thinking I'd like to stay."

"That would be nice," he murmured, kissing along his neck as his hand trailed down over his thighs. "Gives us more time. Guess you must be enjoying it."

"Yeah, I am." He sighed and closed his eyes. It was way too soon for him to get hard again, but Nathaniel's hands still felt really good. "Sure you won't get tired of having me around for a few days?"

"Don't think so," he murmured, keeping up the touches and taking his time. "Not sick of you yet, that's for sure. But you know, who knows... you might just get sick of hanging around me."

Though Nathaniel hoped that wasn't the case.

When he finished washing Dean, he straightened up and nudged him under the water. "Go on, rinse off."

"I guess we'll find out." Dean grinned again and stepped forward to rinse off. After, he reached to take the soap from Nathaniel and started washing him down. It was nice to get a chance to get his hands all over the other man.

If Dean wanted to return the favor, Nathaniel wasn't going to fight it. He breathed out a sigh and tipped his head back as the other started to wash him over.

"Mm... that's nice."

"Yeah, it is." Dean hummed pleasantly as his hands glided over Nathaniel's body. He traced every muscle line with his fingertips and palms. He tipped his head in and nuzzled at Nathaniel's neck lightly.

Nathaniel closed his eyes and just focused on the way those hands moved over him. Definitely enjoying the attention... just felt good. "Mm, so, after this... want to get dressed and take that walk? Or do you want to hang out here... let you see that music collection I got."

"Let's take that walk. When we get back, we can look through the music collection." Dean wanted to prove there was more to him than sex. It felt weird to care, but he did.

"Sounds okay?" He asked as he nudged Nathaniel under the water to rinse.

"Yeah, alright." Once he was rinsed off, he reached to cut the water off. A walk around sounded good... gave them some time to talk at least. They'd have plenty of time for sex, but Nathaniel still wanted to get to know Dean a little better.

He moved to step out and grab them both a towel to dry off with.

Dean took the towel from him and stepped out to dry off. Then he headed back into the living room to grab some clothes out of his bag. He didn't bother with the towel. It wasn't like Nathaniel hadn't seen it all already anyway.

Nathaniel discarded his towel and went to the bedroom to get dressed real fast. Wasn't all that embarrassed about his body, not when Dean had seen it pretty intimately already.

As soon as he was ready, he moved to meet Dean in the living room. "So, are we ready?"

Dean was sitting on the couch and tying his boots back on. He looked up and smiled. "Yeah, ready. Know where you want to walk to?"

He stood up and waited for Nathaniel to lead the way.

"Depends on what you want to see... plenty of shops, museums... there's a park around here we can head to if you want." Nathaniel didn't really care either way... he just wasn't sure what kind of things Dean was into really.

"It all sounds good. Whatever you feel like showing me. You're the one playing tour guide." He stepped outside and waited for Nathaniel to lock the door before they headed down the stairs to street level.

He locked up and headed down towards the park for now. They could always find something else later. "So, do you come up this way often?"

"Fairly often. I don't always stop, but it seems like I'm always passing through." Of course, he'd never had a reason to stop in before. He was starting to think that might be changing.

"How long have you lived here?"

"Grew up here actually... but I ended up leaving for a long time." He shrugged, pausing as he thought the question over. "Been back about a year, I guess."
