Dean meant to be earlier, but it turned out that finding a suit -- particularly since he'd never bought one before -- was more difficult than he imagined. With some help from one of the fitting room clerks, he finally found one that fit and looked pretty damn good on him.

By then, he was anxious to get going. He put the pedal down as often as he could on the drive there. With the effort, and some lucky breaks in traffic, he found himself at Nathaniel's place before lunchtime.

Dean snagged his regular bag and the garment bag with the suit then just about sprinted up the steps to knock on the front door.
